Printing a removable customer address label from Interspire and BigCommerce

With the invoice and packing slip software for Interspire you can include an additional peel off label (or labels) with your customer addresses on to stick to your parcels or letters. Because the label is on the same document that you pick and pack from it improves the efficiency of your packing process and saves you time. There is also less chance of the wrong goods being sent to the customer. There are no new Interspire procedures to learn as you print your invoice or packing slip in the same way that you currently do.

Invoices and Packing Slips are provided for single and double label paper. If you are using double perforated paper you can tear off the top addresses section.

Examples of all the Invoice and Packing Lists available are shown below:

Invoice with delivery address at top right on single label paper	Invoice with delivery address at top right and invoice address at top left on double label paper. If using double perforated paper the top section can be removed.
Packing Slip with delivery address at top right on single label paper	Packing Slip with delivery address at top right and invoice address at top left on double label paper. If using double perforated paper the top section can be removed.

Installing the templates for Bigcommerce

If you are using Bigcommerce you need to use the following procedure to install the templates. Newer BigCommerce stores will use Stencil themes, following the Stencil guide

Bigcommerce Blueprint

1 The Bigcommerce templates are installed into the C:\IntegratedLabels under the filename PrintableInvoice.html and PrintablePackingSlip.html. You will need these files in steps 8 and 13 .
2 Login to your Bigcommerce store.
3 Click on the Settings->Design link.
4 Select the More->Template Files menu option

To install the Invoice template follow steps 5 to 10
To install the Packing Slip template follow steps 11 to 15

Install Invoice template
5 In the list of template files scroll down and select the invoice_print.html template (they are shown in alphabetical order)
6 under the cog wheel icon to the right of the template select the Edit menu option
7 On the left hand side under Other Template files scroll down to the Snippets section and click on the PrintableInvoice.html template.
8 Open the supplied template (the file in C:\IntegratedLabels\PrintableInvoice.html) with NotePad (or another text editor). Select all the text and copy it (using Control C).
9 Back in Bigcommerce select all the text in the File contents panel and paste in the new template (using Control V).
10 Click on Save (at the screen stop) and Close.

Install Packing Slip template
11 In the list of template files scroll down and select the packing_slip_print.html template (they are shown in alphabetical order)
12 under the cog wheel icon to the right of the template select the Edit menu option
13 Open the supplied template (the file in C:\IntegratedLabels\PrintablePackingSlip.html) with NotePad (or another text editor). Select all the text and copy it (using Control C).
14 Back in Bigcommerce select all the text in the File contents panel and paste in the new template (using Control V).
15 Click on Save (at the screen stop) and Close.


Bigcommerce Stencil

1 The Bigcommerce template is installed into the C:\IntegratedLabels under the filename invoice_print.html.
2 Login to your Bigcommerce store (at https://login.bigcommerce.com/login ).
3 Select Advanced Settings option on the left.
4 Select Checkout.
5 Select Custom one-page checkout (for developers).
6 Click Save (and Continue if shown).
7 Click on Dashboard to get back to the top left.
8 Select Server Settings.
9 Select File Access (WebDAV).
10 Setup WebDAV using Cyberduck or BitKinex. Links are shown on this screen.
11 Connect to your store using using the shown WEBDAV parameters (WebDAV Path, Username and Password).
12 When logged into WebDAV, under dav a new folder is shown, called template.

NOTE: If you can't see the template folder you need to make sure that you have changed the checkout to Custom one-page checkout (for developers), (in step 5).

13 Locate the invoice_print.html file and put this in the template folder.
14 On your BigCommerce store click on Dashboard to get back to the top left.
15 Select Advanced Settings option on the left.
16 Select Checkout.
17 Set this back to the previous setting (normally One-page checkout (recommended).

The invoice has now been amended to work with the integrated label paper.
